Weekly Meal Planning doesn’t have to be horrible! We’ve created a simple system to help you get MASTER your weekly food hustle and power through the grocery store lines like a champ each week.

If you’re like me, you probably don’t particularly love going to the grocery store, spending too much money, only to get home and realize you forgot to buy that one ingredient you really, really needed! The Good Food Weekly Meal Planner is a fool-proof system to get you thriving in the meal prep game with as little headache as possible.

The system works likes this:

  1. Sit down on Saturday morning and brainstorm some meal options you’d be excited about eating this week. If you have roommates or a spouse, bring them into the conversation too! Figure out if this is a week you need to cut back financially, or if it’s a week to splurge and go all out!

  2. Once you found your meals, map out when you’re going to cook them. It’s a very freeing feeling to get home after work on a Thursday and know what you’re going to eat (nobody likes the dreaded “open the fridge… hope something’s in there” moment!)

  3. Get to prepping your grocery list! On the back of the meal planner, there are columns to list the quantity, prices, and items you need to get to execute your meal plan to perfection. We’ve found that physically writing not only helps you remember what you need to buy, but it also helps you visualize the quantities of ingredients more effectively, leading you to have less leftovers and wasted food to go bad in the back of your fridge each week.

  4. The best part: Sunday afternoon, walk into your grocery store of choice, look around the store with confidence, knowing that you’re going to absolutely CRUSH this shopping trip like a master chef.

  5. Enjoy the rest of the week! Trust the plan. Make notes about what works and what doesn’t. Create routines to cook and prep your food so that you can take your focus off of what and when you’re going to eat and relax, knowing that you’re now a Master Meal Planner.
