In 2024, we decided to start something: A company focused on creating content to help ordinary people enjoy their lives no matter their circumstances. Because there’s a reality that, no matter how hard life is sometimes, with the right perspective, there is plenty to be enjoyed.
The Good Today Collective consists of a group of friends from a wide variety of careers and life experiences dedicated to sharing what has worked (and the many, many things that have NOT worked), to help you start to take the reins of your own life and start to build a future you’ve always wanted.
We believe that by living intentionally, focused on the things we care about most, we can enjoy the present, while building a future centered on good, joyful things.
Meet Matt.
Matt’s background is focused in the realm of non-profit work. For the last eight years, Matt has worked for a church in Knoxville, TN, primarily in managing staff and volunteers, strategic planning for events, and facilitating outreach and growth.
He loves spreadsheets, meeting agendas, and planning (he’s not the most exciting guy to hang out with…) and loves when an idea can become a reality. He has the privilege of being Kayla’s husband and James’ (we call him Jimmy) dad.
Matt leads the Good Today Co. Team with vision, content, and media.
Meet Kayla.
Kayla is the humblest, kindest, most loving person in the world (according to Matt, at least).
Kayla’s background comes from the educational field, where she served as a teacher for several years. Now she’s a full-time teacher, chef, homemaker, and more since she quit her job and was hired (by her son Jimmy) as a stay-at-home mom in December of 2022.
