Small EXPERIMENTS, repeated over time, are the recipe for transformation in business, and life.” — Noah Kagan, Million Dollar Weekend

The Good Today Co. turns three-months old today. We started this business from scratch, knowing very well that we are ABSOLUTELY NOT “professionals” at start-ups. This is our first big experiment in entrepreneurship, and Noah’s take on trying, even if it means failing some along the way, has been very inspiring to us.

Idea:

I’ve been reflecting a lot about the last quarter, as we made a website, starting creating content, and been pleasantly surprised by any success we come across. It made me realize that too often in life, we wait to start things simply because we’re afraid it won’t work. We’re afraid we’ll fail. We’re afraid it won’t be good enough. We’re afraid that all this effort of starting something new will just be a huge waste of time.

But, at the end of the day, you’ll never know unless you try it. You have to be willing to take risk to know if whatever idea you’re tossing over in your mind is a diamond in the rough… or just some… rough in the rough…

Question:

My question for you this week is this: What idea have you been thinking about trying or doing that you simply haven’t started yet? I think we all have something like this lingering in our lives (I bet as you read this it came to your mind!).

  • Maybe it’s starting a business or looking for a new form of income.

  • Maybe it’s starting a new habit like an exercise plan or joining a book club.

  • Maybe it’s calling that friend or family member you haven’t talked to in too long.

Whatever it is, I encourage you consider taking the first step towards whatever that idea is.
